David has designed, published, produced and project managed print-based projects, web sites and multimedia applications for a range of clients.
David has fulfilled the roles of Graphic Designer, Art Director, Creative Director, Consultant and Educator in a succession of positions.
As a creative director, David’s extensive industry experience allows him to bring a full range of design, art direction, creative direction and management skills to the studio environment. Having studied tertiary teaching at a postgraduate level, David is a passionate and patient mentor and teacher. He is highly computer literate and possesses an expert knowledge of software applications, including the full Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. Management Skills
David has been in a management role in several Melbourne design studios of varying size. Together with liasing with clients, preparing quotes and pitches, creating briefs for the various team members and tracking jobs, he has been responsible for monitoring each stage of the design process to ensure consistent quality of a studio’s output. David is familiar with the rigors of allocating and prioritising the often limited resources of a design studio.
A very inclusive management style enables David to maximise the potential of every studio member. He is acutely aware of specific team dynamics, communication styles and the differing ways individuals respond to pressure within the work environment.Design Skills

Computer Skills
Professional development has enabled David to stay up to date with the ever changing nature of the design industry. In addition to his extensive knowledge of both Macintosh and Windows system software, he is able to troubleshoot and rectify most software (and some hardware!) problems.
